Safe Ministry

Jesus had a special concern for the weak and vulnerable. We are committed to keeping children and vulnerable people safe.

Anyone working with children (paid or volunteer) is screened and undertakes regular training. All churches within the Anglican Diocese of Sydney follow the same Safe Ministry Code ('Faithfulness in Service') and undertake the same training.

You can contact our local Safe Ministry representative with any questions.

Safe Ministry Blueprints (essential for kids church leaders)

These documents are designed to inform people at all levels of leadership to promote greater awareness, transparency, and accountability within our church and foster a culture of safe ministry. Please familiarise yourself with the expectations laid out in these documents, especially relating to ministry to young children.

Domestic Abuse

Our Parish Council has adopted the Domestic Violence Policy of the Anglican Diocese of Sydney to help our churches be places of safety from violence. If there is a disclosure to a member of staff, we follow the Domestic Violence Flowchart

To report abuse, please contact the Police (Call 000) or Abuse Hotline on 1800 774 945.
